MISSISSIPPI WORKS

Mississippi Works is one of the most advanced online job systems in the country.  Employers can post job openings for free and explore the labor market via an interactive search. They can also invite potential candidates to apply for their job openings.

MISSISSIPPI DEPARTMENT OF EMPLOYMENT SECURITY (MDES)

The Mississippi Department of Employment Security’s Employer Services are designed to help employers connect to workers and resources quickly and easily. MDES also offers many incentives to help your business grow. One of these incentives is On-the-Job Training (OJT). This incentive can pay up to ½ the cost of hiring a new employee for up to 1040 hours.

Another service provided by MDES is the WIN Job Centers. These centers are located in most counties and provide job placement services, job and skill training, priority services for veterans, career counseling, and referrals to many other valuable services.
